Twist coffee table: geometry games

"It all started by shifting the feets to the side and rotating them around the board," says designer Elisabeth Hertzfeld. "The result is a very clean line and a slightly lanky silhouette. The position of the feet creates secondary lines that become support for the lower plate. It's a game with geometry and orthogonality, "she continues. Balance of volumes and harmony of materials combine to give life to a surprising, dynamic, incredibly sober and refined piece.
The name Twist comes from the impression of twisted feet at the base. This one, always shifted, gives the feeling of one foot in front, the other behind, as if one could not put this table really on front.
Elisabeth Hertzfeld is a Franco-American designer graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2003, she founded her own company, Remake Design, to develop and market an innovative and modular lighting system. Since 2015, Elisabeth Hertzfeld has been working with many brands to put into practice her fascination with materials and their applications.
